Location description
Villa Manzara is a complex consisting of two villas and a stone cottage with two pools. It offers the convenience of your home yet the luxury of a hotel. Unbeatable sea view from the two villas is available from each room as you lounge in your chairs specially designed on the wooden terrace of balconies to watch the nearby village, peak of the mountains or flickering sea. Situated in the green and mountainous periphery of Marmaris, Villa Manzara® has a beautiful panorama of the Selimiye Bay and the surrounding almond and pine covered mountains from where cool breezes bring relief even during the hot summer months.Historicaj ruins of Helenic, Roman, Byzantium and Greek civilizations dominate the are. Two castle and one monastry ruins as well as the Turgut waterfall are the primary tourist attractions.
Other activities
Our guests also choose to take the minibus to Marmaris for more sophisticated shopping or visit Bozburun where you can see traditional wooden gulets being built. It is also worth exploring the interior of the Peninsula. There are waterfalls close by, with trout restaurants where the tables are set in the river,diving, sailing, snorkelling. mountain biking, cooking, painting, hiking, waterskiing, fishing, handcrafts and cultural events, folklore and historical sights, bird watching, boat building sites.
Local events
Small tours or excursions to the environs, i.e. waterfalls, Datca/Knidos, Bozburun yatch harbour, and to the nearby historical ruins adds immeasurably to your appreciation of the history, landscape and culture with which you come into contact.
Directions
Situated in the Southern Aegean coast of Turkey, Selimiye is 40 km. south of Marmaris and is approximately 140 km. from the Dalaman and Bodrum International Airport.
After Marmaris fallow the Datca road for 20 kms and turn left at the Bozburun junction and drive for 28 kms more until you arrive at the Selimiye. After you enter the town, follow the main road until Jet Migros on you left Once you pass circa 15 meters Migros, turn left into the narrow road, drive until the intersectin and turn left again. Then climb the ramp for about 200 meters to reach Villa Manzara.
