    Our holiday home will provide a tranquil setting with all the comforts of your own home.
    You can dine 'alfresco' on the rear decking with the morning sun or on the front patio in the evening where you can use the large BBQ, There is a comfortable lounge with new sofas, WiFi and satellite TV and indoor dining area and a large well equipped kitchen with patio doors leading to the front patio. There is a further rear patio with sunbeds and parasol. The large fully enclosed gardens have a gate and provide a secure garden for children and pets and secure off road car parking. NEW in 2014 swing set and trampoline for children.

    On the outskirts of the charming town of Cozes which has an ancient covered market and various shops, takeaways and bars including a large supermarket with 24hr petrol, there is also a chemist and medical centre and an English speaking Vet for your pet requirements. There is also a council run open air pool and tennis courts.

    There are several fantastic beaches nearby, The house is about 5 miles from the medieval coastal village of Talmont (recently voted one of the most attractive villages in France). Close to fantastic beaches at Meschers (8 miles), St Georges de Didonne (9 miles) and St Palais sur Mer (15 miles). About 11 miles from Royan, a large cosmopolitan seaside resort with beaches, marina, market and a multitude of bars & restaurants. There are further secluded beaches along the Cote Sauvage and Isle de Oleron, Isle de Re, and La Rochelle.

    Cozes is also an ideal base for searching for your own house in the sun. The house is also ideally located for visiting various wine making regions. You can visit the Medoc via the car ferry at Royan or Blaye, an area heaving with big name wine Chateaux (pre-booking is recommended) and also has the largest freshwater lake in France (Lake Hourtin) which is famous for a variety of water sports. Other wine areas include the Cote de Blaye, St Emilion and of course Bordeaux. Also La Palmyre Zoo is highly recommended (15 miles). La Rochelle is within easy distance with its historic harbour areas and world famous Aquarium. There are also the islands of Oleron, Re and Aix famous for oysters and fantastic secluded beaches bordered by pine forests.
