The coastal rocks reveal the history of the Earth over a 185 million years across theTriassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. It is therefore an excellent location to hunt for fossils and with a little local knowledge visitors can learn what types of fossils are repreented in which areas and make their own discoveries.
