Set back from the main road it has a sheltered private garden. In easy walking distance to a small supermarket and post office. Finstown is surrounded by farming land and also has the Bay of Firth near by which gives plenty of good walking. Halfway between the two main towns in Orkney.

The cottage is in a quiet location close to the 17th century harbour and within easy walking distance to the local pub, cafes, co-op etc. It has a beautiful terraced garden with a summer house with sea views to enjoy those long summer evenings. Off road parking. WiFi. Family and dog friendly.

The nearest village is Auchterarder a 15 minute walk. In town you will find supermarkets, banks post office, great tea rooms, cafes and hotels. This town is perhaps best known for the renowned Gleneagles hotel and its equally famous golf course. City of Perth 10 miles away. Ochil hills behind site.

The house grows, as it were, out of a hillside right above the sea. The view goes over the Summer Isles and the mountains on the other side of a large sea loch, uninterupted by any other habitation. The location gives the feeling of complete solitude. It warrants total privacy.
