Holiday Lettings in Rhodes, Greece | Villas (1 result)
Rhodes is the largest of a group of twelve islands known as the Dodecanese, in the south eastern Aegean. Although part of Greece, it is actually much closer to the Turkish coast. Rhodes enjoys several months of very warm weather from May to November, with almost no rainfall at all in July and August. The island has a very rich history, the evidence of which is still very present and accessible. Of particular interest is Rhodes Old Town, Lindos, and the ruined city of Kameiros. The prevailing wind is westerly, making the west coast a good place for wind and kite surfing. The east coast offers excellent swimming and snorkelling, and safe paddling for beginners.
