Playa Blanca is located on the southern most tip of the island of Lanzarote and enjoys some of the best weather on the island. Try booking an excursion to the Timanfaya National Park for a conducted tour around the main volcanos, it's fascinating and if you decide to eat in the restaurant at the top, your food is cooked over the natural heat from the volcano and that has to be first for most people! Its easy to charter a boat for a few hours sailing or take the water taxi round the coast to Puerto del Carmen for the day. Or try scuba diving for the first time - in Playa Blanca you will find lots to fill those sun packed days.
