Our beautiful 19th century house with its former Cognac distillery is set in a small hamlet with a fishing lake and 11th century church. Nearby the rolling countryside is surrounded by vineyards, sunflower fields and quiet roads making it ideal for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.

Guests to the gites at 'Le jardin des Amis' share a large pool and other facilities on site whilst being only 600m from the centre of Meyrals village with it's restaurant, bar, boulangerie etc. The location is perfect for reaching the huge number of tourist sites which are within 15 minutes drive

The property is centrally located for a wide range of holiday activities. Numerous onsite facilities include a large private swimming pool with a summer kitchen. The local town of Rouffignac St Cernin offers a good selection of amenities, including restaurants, shops and that all-important baguette.

The Haute Vienne (87) is the least industrialized region of France and it is famous for vast expanses of Chestnut and Oak forests, pleasant villages and large lakes. There is a wide range of outdoor activities including walking cycling, swimming and a diverse variety of wildlife in the area also.

Our 17th century farmhouse is our home and also offers two self-catering holiday cottages each with their own private garden and terrace area and access to our large enclosed garden and fenced pool. We are close to the village of Aubeterre and it's river beach and also to the beautiful Lake Jemaye.
