The cottage is one of 5 renovated gites (formerly a farm) on the edge of the village of Meyrals. It is a short stroll to restaurants, bar, boulangerie, and post office. The cottages are very well located for access to the main tourist sites of the area, being between the Vezere and Dordogne valley

The cottage: Chez les Grands-Mères accommodates 4 people. It has a private garden with a view of the forest and a shared swimming pool. You need 20 minutes drive to Bordeaux and 20 to 40 minutes to the main wine areas. It's 1 hour from the ocean and lake areas. It's 800m from to the village.

Le Vieux Cafe is in a pretty village surrounded by fields of sunflowers and wheat. The recently renovated 3-bedroomed cottage easily sleeps 10 and offers child-friendly comfortable accommodation. The nearest market town is 8km away and the sandy beaches of Fouras are accessible within the hour.
