Our family run Bed and Breakfast is situated in a quiet location, in the heart of Ambleside. The villages restaurants,cafes and pubs are a minutes walk away. Our rooms are clean, modern and stylish. We serve a full English or vegetarian breakfast, together with choice of fruit juices and yoghurts.

The Nook is a fully renovated cottage which forms part of Ivythwaite Lodge guest house. The Cranny is a new build single storey apartment in the same location. Situated halfway between Windermere and Bowness with private parking and beautiful established gardens.

Our luxurious riverside accommodation is furnished to a very high standard and has stunning views down the River Kent and to Kendal Castle beyond.
