Kalkan is the jewel in the crown on Turkeys Turquoise Coast and is often referred to as Turkeys most upmarket seaside resort. Known for the great hospitality and friendliness of its inhabitants, Kalkan offers a huge variety of restaurants as well as excellent shopping. As well as beach clubs around the bay - of which the Patara Prince Resort is a prime example - there is a good pebble beach with sunloungers in the town itself.
