The Haute Vienne (87) is the least industrialized region of France and it is famous for vast expanses of Chestnut and Oak forests, pleasant villages and large lakes. There is a wide range of outdoor activities including walking cycling, swimming and a diverse variety of wildlife in the area also.

The cottage is well situated overlooking the river Sienne and Abbaye d'Hambye. It has been renovated and furnished to a high standard. The ground floor single bedroom and wet room is ideal for those guests who cannot manage a flight of stairs.

The farmhouse is 2km from Lassay les Chateaux, a Medieval Petite City de Character in the Mayenne. La Cloue is on our 15 acre smallholding with great views over the valley.
