The Haute Vienne (87) is the least industrialized region of France and it is famous for vast expanses of Chestnut and Oak forests, pleasant villages and large lakes. There is a wide range of outdoor activities including walking cycling, swimming and a diverse variety of wildlife in the area also.

It is situated within the boundary of the Mercantour Ntl Park and located 70 miles north of Nice. Extremely well equipped and comfortable. Close to all amenities. Fishing-paradise! 'Motje' is a typical 18th century farmhouse that has been converted into a charming, self-catering cottage. Set amongst bocage trees occuping 987m2, on the outskirts of Saint-Bomer-les-Forges. The cottage has spectacular views from the Kitchen, Living room and Bedrooms.

Our beautiful 19th century house with its former Cognac distillery is set in a small hamlet with a fishing lake and 11th century church. Nearby the rolling countryside is surrounded by vineyards, sunflower fields and quiet roads making it ideal for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.
