Our beautiful 19th century house with its former Cognac distillery is set in a small hamlet with a fishing lake and 11th century church. Nearby the rolling countryside is surrounded by vineyards, sunflower fields and quiet roads making it ideal for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.

Original houses in the middle of medieval villages don't usually have room for a large pool and garden. Our pool stays at 24C year-round. Just 5 minute's walk to restaurant/cafe/wine bar/boulangerie and alimentation. High ceilings keep the house cool in summer, full central heating if needed. Wifi

Olonzac, capital of the Minervois, is a thriving town with many restaurants, cafes & bars, patisseries, boulangeries, delicatessens and regional specialty stores. Le Gite Tranquille has been lovingly restored & is an ideal base to explore the peaceful Vendeen countryside by foot or cycle. The fully equipped cottage is near to Sainte Hermine and is set in a well maintained garden & orchard. There are 2 ensuite bedrooms and an open plan living/dining area.
