The Haute Vienne (87) is the least industrialized region of France and it is famous for vast expanses of Chestnut and Oak forests, pleasant villages and large lakes. There is a wide range of outdoor activities including walking cycling, swimming and a diverse variety of wildlife in the area also.

Stay in this lovely renovated mill house close to all local amenities. Breakfast and picnic lunch are included, with free use of our swimming pool, bikes, boats, kayaks, paddle boards etc. Self-cater in an evening if you would like.

Le Vieux Cafe is set in the pretty village of Lairoux only a 15 minute drive to the beaches of the southern Vendée. Perfect for families and dogs are welcome too. 3 bedrooms, private terrace, heated pool, large games room and gardens for playing and relaxing. Open all year.

La Fermiere is set at the end of a country lane and has its own private entrance and terrace while sharing the grounds, swimming pool and laundry room with Le Pressoir. The heated pool is fenced and alarmed and has a retractable cover.
