    The Silver Coast has several unique regions within it. The coastal region has fishing and tourism and a very favourable climate. 20kms inland sees agriculture famous for its wine and also fruit, Pears, Apples and Cherries, quite hot in the summer months. A string of low mountains, cooler with many limestone caves to explore. Hiking trails abound in this whole region. The Silver Coast has hundreds of excellent restaurants with a wide variety of superb Portuguese cuisine.
