VILLA MARIA is a small, family run guest house, full of charm and character that has over the past twenty years become the meeting place for many of our guests who return year after year. At Villa Maria we take pride in providing our guests with a warm welcome.

Our house is located in Rasnov village, in-between the famous Prahova Valley and Brasov City at 122 miles from Bucharest and 6 miles from the legendary Dracula’s Castle. Located on a picturesque plateau, our house has breathtaking views over the Rasnov fortress, the forest and Piatra Craiului.

Tthe house is representative of traditional Galician architecture located at the foot of a Celtic river valley in the interior of the Ria de Muros-Noia, the Camino de Santiago to Finisterre. Halstead Green is a 5 double/twin bedroom former farm house and barn in Calderdale West Yorkshire. The area includes the towns of Hebden Bridge and Todmorden . The area lies about 10 miles from Bronte country and the town of Haworth, famous for the Bronte parsonage museum where the family lived.

Original houses in the middle of medieval villages don't usually have room for a large pool and garden. Our pool stays at 24C year-round. Just 5 minute's walk to restaurant/cafe/wine bar/boulangerie and alimentation. High ceilings keep the house cool in summer, full central heating if needed. Wifi

It's two and a half hours by car from either bridge in Lisbon, or one and a half hours by car from Faro Airport. The Quinta is approximately one and a half hours by train from Faro and three by train from Lisbon; the nearest station is Santa Clara Google map: 37º 31' 53.68" N 8º 26' 33.85" W
