Holiday Lettings in Antalya Province, Turkey | Villas (1 result)
The province of Antalya consists of the ancient lands of Pamphylia to the east and Lycia to the west.
Lycia lies roughly between the Gulf of Fethiye and the Gulf of Antalya, characterised by stunning landscape of high mountains plunging abruptly down to sea level. Modern-day Lycia retains well its fascinating ancient history, with many Lycian, Greek and Roman ruins dotted about the breathtaking scenery. Nearby Patara, where St.Nicholas was born, was once a huge port, now silted up, with new excavations every year . Sites of Xanthos, Tlos, Pinara, Sidyma are four of the sites nearest to Kalkan, but exploration further afield will pay huge dividends as well.
