    Description

    Mumpy's Cottage is in a small courtyard of Grade II listed barn conversions which were sympathetically renovated in the mid 1980's. The original buildings date back to the mid 1880's.

    Ground floor is an open plan sitting room, dining and kitchen area with character beams. The sitting room has a flatscreen colour tv with dvd and freeviw, CD-cassette-radio, a selection of books and games. The fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave/grill, coffee machines, childrens crockery/cutlery (high chair also available). A tea towel and kitchen towel is provided. Heating is by storage heaters and included in the rental. The telephone is for incoming calls only.

    Upstairs has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The double room has a pine double bed, fitted wardrobes, hairdryer, tv/video and stunning views over the lush green farmland. The small twin bedded room has two single beds and overlooks the pretty courtyard. The bathroom has a WC and bath/shower. All bed linen is provided except for the travel cot.

    The cottage is set in one and a half acres of landscaped gardens with panoramic views over the beautiful countryside. Within the grounds are shared facilities for all visitors: tennis court, barbecue area, games/laundry room, outside drying area and large parking area. The games room has table tennis and darts. There is games equipment provided in the cottage. The laundry room has two washing machines and tumble driers operated by 1 coins.
