Gors-lŵyd Cottage, Llithfaen sleeps 4 + cot and is a traditional 2 bedroom cottage with modern facilities including WiFi. The cottage has large gardens boasting breathtaking views of mountains and sea. The cottage has been awarded a 5* rating by Visit Wales.
Gors-lŵyd is a great base from which to explore the unique heritage and natural beauty of North Wales. It is situated on the outskirts of Llithfaen, one of the highest villages on the Llŷn Peninsula. The cottage is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is nestled on the southern slopes of the majestic Yr Eifl, the highest mountain peak on the Llŷn Peninsula. Both Yr Eifl and the ancient hillfort of Trer Ceiri are only a short walk away from your door.
There are plenty of opportunities for sport and recreation, whether you enjoy walking, hiking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching, mountain climbing, fishing or golf.
Llithfaen is also within easy reach of the beaches of Nefyn, Porthdinllaen, Pwllheli and Criccieth, as well as the castles of North Wales (Conwy, Caernarfon, Harlech and Criccieth to name a few). No holiday to this area would be complete without a trip up Mount Snowdon, a ride on the world-famous Ffestiniog steam railway or a visit to the famous slate caverns and slate museums.
