    Description

    Sunnyside is a lovely south facing Cornish cottage in Marazion with wonderful sea views including the stunning St Michael's Mount out in the bay. Steep steps lead down to the back of Sunnyside, past its lawn and decked terrace from the private parking-area (suitable for two cars). The cottage is tastefully decorated in neutral colours, reflecting a seaside theme.

    The lounge is comfortably furnished with a glowing woodburning stove for those cooler nights and plenty of sofa space if you want to curl up and watch sky TV or a DVD after a busy day exploring. The kitchen diner has a large table and chairs ideal for family meals and the utility is great for dealing with those sandy towels after a day on the beach.

    The bathroom and three bedrooms are off the split landing on the first floor. Two have wonderful sea views and the third, a bunk bedroom at the back of the house, boasts an en suite shower-room. The front bedrooms are a kingsize double and a twin /super king size double depending on your preference. Both bathrooms have been fully renovated to a luxury standard and the kitchen & lounge have now been renewed for the 2023 season. Marazion is within easy walking distance down the hill and you can enjoy the interesting art galleries, cafes and glorious stretches of golden sands and even take a walk or boat trip across the tidal causeway to the Mount itself.

    Linen and towels are included and the cottage is cleaned to an extremely high standard for your arrival. There is full oil fired central heating and the hot water is on demand and so available at any time.

    Well behaved dogs are very welcome and we provide a dog bowl and mat and even a treat!

    Marazion is surrounded by beautiful country and coastal walks and is within easy reach of many of Cornwall's great attractions. St Ives is close by with it's Tate Gallery, The Eden Project is also not far and The Minack outdoor theatre at Porthcurno, constructed into the face of the cliff is simply stunning. Shows are put on through the summer (take a picnic)!

    Linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. If you are staying more than one week, a change of linen will be left for you. If you would like the use of the travel cot please bring your own linen for that.

    Deposit/Booking Notes

    A 30% deposit is required if the booking is over 8 weeks before the date of your holiday. If it is less than 8 weeks away payment is required in full. The balance is due 8 weeks before your stay. There is a 100 refundable security deposit also added to the final balance due. Dogs are charged at 35 per week (1 or 2 dogs).

    The easiest way to pay is by bank transfer or if preferred a cheque is fine.
