Broadgate Farm is in the East Riding of Yorkshire where the Yorkshire Wolds meets Holderness. This county is full of hidden tourist gems, there is so much to do here that you could stay for a month and do something different every day! Broadgate Farm is ideally located with all of the local attractions within easy reach. Unlike many UK holiday destinations there is just as much to do here whatever the weather or time of year.

THE FORGE - 2 bedroom sleeps 4 plus cot or put up bed
Originally the Blacksmiths shop and now extended The Forge is a two bedroom holiday cottage overlooking our wildlife pond & Blackmeredale Bottom. It has been skilfully converted into superb accommodation, all the modern comforts but with the character of bygone days.
Downstairs the sitting room has a wood burning stove and the Dining Kitchen has french windows out onto the patio. There is also a downstairs cloakroom of the hall. Upstairs there is one double bedroom & one twin room and a bathroom with bath & shower over.
THE STABLES - 2 bedroom sleeps 4 plus cot or put up bed
A delightful cottage with a semi open plan living area, the sitting room has a double height ceiling, oak floors, beams and a wood burning stove. There is a kitchen and dining area. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom that can be configured either as a twin or an extra king room and a stunning wet-room.
Upstairs there is a king bedroom and a bathroom with bath and separate shower.
FOLDYARD - 2 bedrooms sleeps 4
All on one floor this cottage can interconnect to the Barn House to give a 6 bedroom unit. This cottage has a kitchen dining room - well fitted with all modern appliances and our signiture stone floors and beams. The sitting room has oak floor, beams and a stunning wood burning stove, here you will find staelitte HD TV, DVD player, Hi-fi and internet wi-fi point.
There are two bedrooms a superking and a twin - both of these rooms feature zip and link beds making this a very flexible cottage ideal for two couples, four friends or a family. There is a wet room fully tiled with travertine.
Outside a lovely large private garden with patio, garden furniture, raised beds and pergola with grape vines.
We also have 2 larger two bedroom cottages Cart House and Courtyard, full details on our website. Sometimes we let our larger cottages on low occupancy so always ask even if all our 2 bedroom cottages are booked.
All interiors have been individually designed using natural materials, quality furnishings and sumptuous fabrics. Kitchens are well appointed with fridges, electric oven, gas hob, washer dryer & microwave. We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and we have tried to supply your cottage with all that you may need.
Electricity and heating are included in the price you pay for your holiday cottages, mainly heated by underfloor heating with some radiators. The heating is powered by geothermal ground source heat pump. You also have the option of a wood burning stove in most of our cottages with free logs
All visitors receive a welcome pack on arrival, linen, towels and tea towels are provided. If you have any special requirements for younger visitors such as travel cots and high chairs please request at the time of booking and we will happily provide free of charge.

For your entertainment all holiday cottages have - wifi; Freeview TV; Netflix; Blu-ray/DVD player; A selection of board games; A small library of books for all ages; Hi-fi.
Outside you are welcome to wander down to the wildlife pond or just sit in your own private garden or patio area and soak up the atmosphere.

Location description
We are only two miles from the centre of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire and less than one mile from our nearest village Walkington. Beverley train station is less than two miles away and we are on a bus route.
Beverley is a delightful market town, stroll around the quaintly named streets, check out the market or try one of the many stunning restaurants on offer.
Walkington is a lovely village with a picturesque duck pond and some rather controversial terrapins. There are three pubs all of which serve food and a local shop. The next village is Bishop Burton, home to Bishop Burton College.
We are only 10 miles from Hull a city with a proud maritime heritage and a host of attractions & activities including the Deep & Wilberforce House
The coast is within easy reach, sample the unspoilt environment at Spurn Point a designated National Nature Reserve & Heritage Coast or try the rock pools & puffin colony at Flamborough Headland another designated Heritage Coast. We have Blue Flag beaches at Bridlington & Hornsea and dont miss Fraisthorpes lovely long sandy beach.
