Description
Villa Sophia is a detached 2/3 bedroomed bungalow style villa with 2 bathrooms, and a large safe gently sloping,private swimming pool. The villa comfortably sleeps 5/6 persons .
It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in-between Coral Bay and Peyia, (just 40 minutes from Paphos airport and 20minutes from Paphos town centre), an ideal place to either unwind by the pool or return to after a busy day sight-seeing (or on the beach!)
Outside are sunbeds with mattresses, and umbrellas, also seating for 6 under a shady pergola, there are some inflatables in shed for pool, (an electric compressor supplied )
Although self-catering, there are many take-aways locally if you do not want to eat out, and these can be enjoyed under the pergola with lighting at night. There is also a BBQ.
Villa Sophia has CD player and radio , also a small docking device ideal for ipod, etc. there is a selection of CDs.
We also have a small library of various books, together with a TV (, UK tv + local stations ).DVD player and a good selection of DVD s.

The property is ideal for people with MOBILITY PROBLEMS and it is all on 1 floor with no steps inside. Access to pool area is down a gentle slope from front gates to large double gates, which go into pool and patio area (all on 1 level).
We had Villa Sophia built in 1999-2000 and over the years we have tried to make it as comfortable as possible with many extras. Our family and friends visit on a regular basis and many of our guests return annually. We try to get there at least 3 times a year if possible ourselves to make sure all is in order for our guests.

Completely refurbished swimming pool, with new liner.
We have had a small extension built, which can comfortably accommodate 5/6 persons on a double sofa bed and fold down single bed or be used as a quiet reading and relaxing area. It has 2 armchairs, a coffee table and ceiling fan also built in cupboard with rail for clothes. Above this we have had a small tiled patio and veranda built with access via a spiral staircase for lovely views down to the sea and hills.
We have replaced tiles surrounding pool with modern, non-slip tiling for safety.
All tiling in kitchen and lounge area has been replaced with new modern tiling.

Location description
Villa Sophia is in a lovely setting, ideally and centrally located to enjoy many great places to visit. its conveniently located between Coral bay and Peyia (Pegiea), which offer many restaurants of both local and international cuisine. Shops, banks, medical centres and many other facilities are also found in both villages.
2 safe sandy beaches are both within couple of minutes drive and if you would like to venture further, St Georges Bay and Akamas peninsular are within 10 minutes easy drive for unspoilt, uncrowded beaches and lovely views.
Paphos is a world heritage site, and offers a multitude of activities, from archeological sites, to modern day shopping centres.
Other activities
There is a bowling green located within 1 KM.
There are local markets held in Peyia , see local paper for details, also in Paphos.
Tourist attractions
On Akamas peninsular there is a turtle hatchery, and at certain times of the year you are able to see baby turtles (a 4WD is needed to reach it).

we do strongly recommend car-hire and we can recommend a local car-hire company that is reliable and comes highly recommended to us. They are prepared to pick you up at airport and drive you to Villa Sophia, delivering your rental car next day, also to save you money, if there are 4/5 of you ,they will take your luggage separately ( and back to,airport ) for no extra charge , so you can hire smaller car.Please enquire and I will send you details .
However there is now a new local bus route, that runs between ,St Georges-Peyia-Coral Bay-Corallia Beach. The closest bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk away,and we can supply you with an interactive map,with timetable etc so if you are happy to get a taxi from airport to Villa Sophia, your stay without a hire car is quite do-able. You can get a bus from Corallia beach and Coral Bay into Paphos , all run on regular basis.
EasyJet, Ryanair, Jet 2 , British Airways and many other airlines go to both Paphos and Larnaca all year round.
Buses run from Coral Bay into Paphos on a regular basis.

Villa Sophia
This was our second time at this wonderful villa, which is a home from home. The villa is very clean and tidy and has everything you could wish for, the villa has all home comforts for a very relaxing break. The pool is great for all ages, or just sit on the sun loungers to relax,
The new bus service is very good for non car drivers which can take you to Paphos or Coral Bay
The beach shops and restaurants are not far away. I would highly recommend this villa for its cleanliness, relaxing atmosphere and easy accessible to all amenities.
A great home from home
Second time weve stayed at Villa Sophia as its a great home from home. The villa is spacious and has a great pool that the whole family enjoyed. Not far from the beach, shops and restaurants. and theres plenty of things to do in the area.

Villa Sophia is a 'home from home experience' it is so welcoming, clean and comfortable with absolutely everything you could wish for! The Villa is very easy to find, and on arrival it's so nice to have a welcome pack with all you need to get settled in and start your holiday quickly. With a crystal clear pool, roof top terrace, dining inside or out, we really couldn't have wished for more. Excellent restaurants within easy reach to name just a few, Seacaves, O,Niros and Yialos all with amazing views. We cannot wait to return! Highly recommended as a very easy, relaxing holiday for couples and families.
