Description
A pretty Victorian house built in the 1890's from local slate, Ivy Bank is on a quiet road away from main thoroughfares and is within a few minutes walk of the railway station, coach stop and village centre.
All bedrooms are en-suite and have colour TV, tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities, hair dryer, radio/alarm, electric fan and central heating.
The residents lounge has a good selection of books and guides. There is a private car park and storage for bikes.
Aromatherapy, sports and remedial massage and free wi-fi internet access are all available at Ivy Bank. In addition guests staying at Ivy Bank can use our membership of a local leisure club.
Within thirty minutes walk there are several excellent viewpoints, the lakeshore and tumbling waterfalls.

Directions
Leave the M6 at junction 36, turn left and follow the A591 to Windermere - this takes about 25 minutes. When you reach the village turn left in front of the National Westminster Bank. Follow the one-way system downhill and cross over a pedestrian crossing with lights. After the pedestrian crossing take the first turning left into Broad Street. Go to the end of Broad Street and turn right into Woodland Road. Then take the first right into Holly Road. Ivy Bank is the 4th house on the left.

Deposit/Booking Notes
All prices are per person per night for bed & breakfast. Children aged 14 and under sharing a room with 2 adults are charged at half price.
To make a booking we would require credit or debit card details to hold as surety. The cards we are able to take are Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, Solo, JCB or Maestro. These details are held as surety and only used if people don't show-up or cancel at short notice and we are unable to relet the room.
You can settle your bill by cash, travellers cheque, credit or debit card whichever you prefer when you get to Ivy Bank.
Check-in can be any time but we need to know approximately when you expect to arrive so we can make sure that there is someone here to let you in.
Check-out time is 10.00 but it is possible to leave luggage to collect later in the day if you wish.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Where 14 days or more notice is given, no charge will be made. Where less than 14 days notice is given but we are able to relet the room, no charge will be made.
Where less than 14 days notice is given and we are unable to relet the room for any of the cancelled dates, a charge will be made for any days not relet less the direct cost of breakfast.
You may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
