    Description

    My wee apartment is a self contained part of my bungalow.
    You have your own entrance at the back of my house and you do not need to see me unless you want to. I will be there to welcome you and help and advise if you want it.
    Your entrance is at the back of my house in the shared garden.
    There is ample free parking in the garden at the front of the house.

    There is just one twin bedroom but there is a comfortable double sofabed in the lounge if you require it. Sleeps four total but is probably more comfortable for two or three.
    A travel cot is available if you request it. There is also one bicycle available but again, do let me know in advance.
    The apartment is always sparkling clean when you arrive so I would hope you would do the basic tidy when you leave.
    My neighbor Kate is a trained nursery nurse and is usually available to do baby sitting if you require it.
    There is TV and free Wi fi internet if you need it.
    Everybody that comes falls in love with the village and surrounds so if you do decide to book it will probably not be your last visit to the area.

    Location description

    Situated in a lovely quiet part of Ross-shire. First rate affordable golf courses within easy reach, nearest, my course, 15 mins by car.
    A lovely quiet walk along beach to Portmahomack, 4miles away for tea and scones. See my heading photo, you can just see Portmahomack in the distance, Close driving distance to Tain and Dornoch.

    Other activities

    For those into Pictish history this would be a great base.

    Directions

    From Inverness airport it is about a one hour drive taking the A9 north towards Wick/ Thurso. If you do not have satnav drive to Tain, Inver is a little seaside village 5 miles from Tain on the road out of Tain towards Portmahomack.
    Rental cars are available at Inverness airport for about 14 / day.
    A car is advised to make the most of your holiday.
    If you get lost, just call me and I will talk you in.
    Satnav seems to take you about 100yds from my door, again just call me.
