    Description

    The complex of Verano Azul is conveniently located in Nerja for access to beaches, the town centre and bars and restaurants. The complex is set in well kept gardens. The apartment overlooks the smaller of the two pools, the larger pool is situated near the entrance gate.

    The apartment is on the first floor, accessed by a flight of stairs (no lift), of a two storey block on the inside of the complex. There is a small, south facing terrace as you step outside of the living room, with seating for 4 and a barbecue, and views of the mountains, small pool and sea beyond.

    Taking the spiral staircase up from this terrace you come to a roof terrace, which gets sun all day. The roof terrace belongs solely to our apartment and has wonderful views of the sea and mountains. On the roof terrace there is seating, parasol and sun loungers.

    Location description

    Nerja is on the quieter, eastern Costa del Sol. The mountains give a spectacular backdrop and there are several beaches, some in small coves. The main beach is Burriana. Along the beach are many bars and restaurants serving freshly cooked fish and paella. In the town centre is the famous "Balcon de Europa" from which there are marvellous views of the coastline. There are many bars and restaurants in Nerja, to suit all tastes, many with live music. Nearby are the Nerja caves and the whitewashed villages of Torrox, Maro and Frigiliana.

    Directions

    From Malaga airport there are 3 options to get to Nerja:
    1. Taxi. I can arrange pick up for 70 euros each way (some advertising cheaper on internet).
    2. Hire a car from the airport.
    3. Take the train from the airport into Malaga, takes about 10 minutes (1.80 euros single) then the bus to Nerja (4.52 euros). The bus takes about an hour (direct service) or one and a half hours (non direct). Prices correct at March 2017.

    Price includes a weekly change of linen and a welcome pack of basic groceries. Reductions on the weekly rate for stays of 3 weeks or more. Payment by bank transfer or paypal. PLEASE NOTE: 100 security deposit payable with balance. Deposit to secure booking is 100, balance due 4 weeks before travel.
