Description
Dar Lazuli comprises of 4 boutique self-catering apartments which can be opened up to give a group of 8-10 the run of the whole property or can be reserved individually.
Each apartment has an Emperor double bed, open fireplace, bathroom with ‘Rainfall’ shower, sitting and dining areas and small kitchen.
The riad is cleaned on a daily basis by Latifa, who can also prepare traditional Moroccan meals for you.
Sirocco - ground floor apartment - Through the original beamed low doorway, Sirocco opens out into a light and airy space with rooms leading off a central courtyard. Intricate lanterns illuminate the cosy salon where you can enjoy the crackling open fire and lead you through to your giant bed with its very own bijou fireplace. A large bathroom with shower in traditional tadelakt is ensuite. Across the courtyard you will find a well-equipped kitchen and table and chairs. Enjoy the sounds of the babbling fountain wherever you choose to rest.
Calima - first floor apartment - Light streams into your sitting area through the ceiling windows. An ingenious fireplace open on three sides will keep you snug on winter evenings.
Through the kitchen and dining space you will find the pebble-floored bathroom with spacious shower. From the comfort of your mezzanine-level sleeping quarters, take pleasure in surveying your Moroccan home beneath you.
Alizee - first floor apartment - Discover the different levels of this cool and calm apartment. Enter the kitchen and dining space with brightly coloured niches to display your souk bargains. A curvy bathroom with shower is on your left as you step up into your bedroom complete with huge comfy bed. Venture up the stairs to curl up in the secret nook with a book in complete peace. Just outside your rooms, relax in the easy chairs and listen to the muezzin.
Ghibli - roof terrace apartment - The ‘darling’ of our family of suites, petite Ghibli is small but perfectly formed. Just off the first terrace find your kitchen and living space in front of a curvaceous open fire.
Unpack into a tadelakt wardrobe and step into the Majorelle blue bathroom. You will sleep soundly in the capacious raised bed; then breakfast under African skies when you wake.
