Description
We offer a spacious and light 65m˛ self-catering apartment in a century old house, within 15 minutes easy walking distance from the historic town centre. The apartment has been completely renovated this year and is located on the top floor of the house offering picturesque views of Cochem's castle.
It has a double bedroom and also a sofa bed (pulls out to 1m16cm wide) in the living room so is suitable for up to 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 small children. A baby cot and high chair are also available on request.
The spacious living room with a pull out sofa bed has satellite TV (also with British TV channels BBC, ITV etc) , a DVD player and board games are provided too.
The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self-catering needs with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and small freezer.
The newly renovated bathroom has a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Towels and a hair dryer are provided.
Prices also include all bedding and final cleaning.
Parking and garden seating area also available.
The apartment is situated just a one minute walk from the pretty Moselle river promenade in a very quiet area of Cochem. There is a supermarket, a bakery and bike hire just 2 minutes away.
A 15 minute walk along the river will bring you into the centre of Cochem.
The castle is just a 45 minute walk away, either along the river and through the town or from behind our house you can take the hiking path "Drei Kreuze" through pretty woodland offering beautiful views down onto Cochem and the valley.

Coming from the UK, Cochem is just 5 hours drive from the ferry ports of Calais or Dunkerque. The nearest Autobahn is A48 /E42 just 20 minutes drive away.
The nearest airport is Frankfurt Hahn which is operated by Ryanair with cheap flights from London Stansted, Edinburgh, and Ireland. There is an airport shuttle down to Bullay along the Moselle. Or cars can be hired at the airport.
Cochem lies along the beautiful Moselle river halfway between the cities of Koblenz and Trier with an excellent rail and bus network all along the valley and surrounding countryside even up to Cologne and down to Luxembourg.
