You are a few minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. A very nice area, away from the main clubs of Ayia Napa. You are approx 20 minutes walk from Ayia Napa Harbour, and 10 minutes drive will take you to Protaras centre and the fantastic Fig Tree Bay area.
Paralimni centre is only 10 minutes drive away and as this area is served by a bus service along Nissi Avenue, a car is not necessary.
Paralimni is the main shopping town, offering the combination of being a traditional Cypriot village with the convenience of a modern town. It has wonderful churches, cosmopolitan shops and cafe bars and tavernas, all centred around the main square.
DESTINATION
Situated in the Ayia Napa area of Famagusta, close to Protaras and Paralimni. Climate is wonderful most of the year, dropping to around a very pleasant temperature in winter, making it an ideal winter holiday too.
Cyprus has a typical Mediterranean climate, warm and dry with little rainfall, which makes Cyprus very popular as tourist destination., and definitely an island for all the seasons, from very mild winters to long hot summers. The official language is Greek however, English is widely spoken and understood throughout the island.
Cyprus has lots to offer for tourists. There are various recreation and sports activities available such as sea sports, diving, go-carting and golfing. There are many casinos, and for those of you who prefer the out doors there is bird watching, turtle watching and hiking.
Cypriots are very proud of their cultural heritage, which stretches back more than 9000 years. Cyprus has many traditions and customs. Cypriot culture is reflected in the rich folklore of the island. Age-old crafts, such as the lacemaking at Lefkara, handed down from one generation to another, are faithfully carried on to this day by skilful hands and nimble fingers, fashioning handicrafts both decorative and useful, that would look beautiful in home. It is probably no surprise with a history so long, that Cyprus is remarkably rich in culture.
This area is the main potato producing area of the Island of Cyprus, and is known as Kokkinochoria which means red soil villages. The villages of this area are equally known for their folk poets, who are regarded as the best on the island. The area is also renowned for the famous windmills all over the region in Protaras and Paralimni
Ayia Napa has something for everyone, with its fabulous waterpark, golden beaches and very picturesque harbour area, plus the stunning architecture of the local churches. Not forgetting the wonderful nightlife of Ayia Napa for the younger holidaymaker. On the coast road, from Ayia Napa to Protaras, you have the stunning area of Cape Greco, an area of outstanding beauty with its national park area and sandy beaches.
Protaras, which is the main tourist area of Paralimni, is close by and is one of the prettiest areas of Cyprus and extends along from the Famous Fig Tree Bay and takes in all the areas of Pernera, Ayia Triada and Kapparis. There are numerous bays along this coast, with the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean and white sandy beaches. The area offers something for all ages, from water sports activities to spending your days lazing on the secluded bays and ambling around the fishing harbours.

Golfing - Cyprus is fast becoming a favourite with many golfing travellers due to an improvement in facilities and, of course, its superb all-year round climate. It is rumoured that there are several 'new' top quality golf courses to be built on the eastern coast of Cyprus – between Larnaca and Protaras.
